Our very first project for MIRR is to improve the Midlothian medians from Alverser Drive to Johnston Willis Drive. Trees, shrubs, perennial flowers and grasses will replace the trash ladden, overgrown ditches of today.

Phase II of MIRR will see improvements to the North and South sides of the Turnpike and perhaps sidewalks.

MIRR is a group of business people, property owners and residents that are concerned about the deterioration of Midlothian Turnpike near the intersection of Courthouse/Huguenot. This area is now 30 years old and is showing its wear and tear. Unless action is taken now it will continue to decline, while lowering property values as it drops.
